Determining consumer needs is not only beneficial to product manufacturers and service providers but the consumer population. Service providers and product manufacturers or producers can tailor their activities according to what consumers need and, therefore, extend their market base. On the other hand, consumers get value for their money when products and services meet their needs. Therefore, consumer needs' determination is crucial for a symbiotic relationship between producers, manufacturers, service providers, and consumers. However, the desire to make profits without proper consideration of consumer needs remains inherent in the modern sphere. Interviews are used in determining consumer needs. However, interviewers' techniques and behaviors may be playing a significant role in impeding the determination of actual consumer needs.
