Power of a Story
Stories stimulate our senses and involve us intellectually and emotionally. They can shape, strengthen and challenge our opinions and values. We all know that life can be overwhelming with all people, activities, and stimulation around us. We tell ourselves stories about other people, history, movies, counties, the Bible, and other subjects to make sense of it all. It is the narrative we have developed based on our experiences and the realm around us. My experience with the power of a story is very appealing. Stories always catch my attention anytime they are narrated. I find it easier to understand messages presented in story form than in facts and figures.
