The conventional male/female gender binary is patriarchal. For millennia, men and women share an implicit, unwritten agreement on living and caregiving: men provide and women care. This conventional binary still holds sway over so many countries, cultures and families. Universally, men and women appear, so a general yet mistaken belief goes, to be created for different roles.
