Everyone is susceptible to some kind of cognitive bias, which makes them closed to ideas that oppose their views. One example of this is the Belief-bias effect, wherein an individual is not able to create a logical argument due to a solid belief on something, which may be untrue. Instead of examining a concept with regards to facts and logical reasoning, a belief bias effect is inclined to judge an argument based on one’s personal perception and plausibility of their conclusion, as according to their belief.
