"Position Announcement for Graduate Student Representative for MACES

Michigan Association of Counselor Education and Supervision (MACES) is currently seeking a Graduate Student Representative. The Graduate Student Representative is a voting member of the Executive Council and serves as the Chair of the Graduate Student Committee. The Graduate Student Committee is responsible for coordinating all activities of the graduate student members of MACES. Duties of the Committee include:

1. Identifying annual goals and objectives

2. Preparing a budget for consideration by the Executive Council

3. Planning special graduate student activities at MACES Conventions/Conferences/Workshops and

4. Maintaining a Committee membership and roster of at least 20 members.

The appointment for this position would be guaranteed through 6/30/21 with a possibility of extension through 6/30/22. Following are the eligibility criteria for applicants:

1. You must be a master or doctoral level student from Counselor Education program in the state of Michigan (you may be at any stage/semester of the counseling program) --- I am a PhD Student with Capella University in the Counselor Education and Supervision Program ----

2. You must be a member of ACES (American Counselor Education and Supervision) --- YES

3. You must also be a member of MCA (Michigan Counseling Association) and MACES (Michigan Association of Counselor Education and Supervision) --- YES
