Many variables in medicine follow a normal distribution where there are approximately an equal number of values below the mean as above the mean. Describe two variables that you work with that would probably follow a normal distribution. Also note which of the two variables would be likely to have a larger standard deviation and why.

The normal distribution, also known as Laplace-Gauss, Gauss or Gaussian distribution, is a specific type of continuous probability distribution for real-valued random variables. It can also be regarded as the standard deviation and mean of a set of numerical or quantitative data.
The standard deviation is used to determine the height of a curve on the y-axis of a graph and the mean is used to determine the location of a curve on its x-axis. It should be noticed that normal distribution is symmetrical and has a bell-like shape.
