Simple query Design
A query is a detailed question whose answer lies one or more tables in the database. Queries provide information that might otherwise be missed search and filter are used instead. A one-table query is the simplest form of query possible and involves data held within one table. A one-table query can be perceived as an advanced filter. In MS Access, the Query Design command provides structure for building one-table and multi-table query.
Multi-table Query Design
Multiple tables provide extensive data that allows users to answer more complex questions. The four steps involved in designing a multi-table query include pinpointing the required information, identification of all types of information available, determination of field location, and establishment of selection criteria.
