Go to the site: https://www(dot)politicalcompass(dot)org. (Links to an external site.)
Scroll to the end of the site where it says "take the test."
Answer all of the questions.
After you answer the questions, there will be a chart with your Economic and Social numbers.
After taking the political compass test, tell the class what your scores are and what they mean. Then, analyze why you believe the results or do not believe the scores. Finally, discuss how this course has been beneficial to your daily life and career choice. Use evidence (cite sources) to support your response from assigned readings or online lessons, and at least one outside scholarly source.

My score indicated that I inhabit the left quadrant of the political compass. The results are based on the social dimension score of 1.69 and an economic dimension score of 1.88. The score means that the state's interests are more important than those of an individual. People inhabiting this wing tend to support egalitarianism and equality. I partially believe in the results because most of the questions were posed in a way that did not leave room for socially acceptable answers. As well, I am not much interested in politics, as indicated by the results. However, I prefer that the government should ensure equality by protecting the rights of every citizen.
