They caused several fiscal problems in the repayment of domestic and foreign debts. A strong central government was important in managing federal taxes, or else the states didn't need to pay. It was impossible for America to reimburse its arrears without federal taxes. Other lenses could also show how the three lenses influence the economic reasons for the overlapping of the lenses in some manner.
