In his essay, Immanuel Kant talks about someone judging that an object is liked by everyone if he can like it without any personal interests involved and can even describe it as beautiful. He talks about there being a universal agreement of liking the object if there are no any private inclinations used in judging the object. He says this is a judgment of taste which is based on keeping all interests out and therefore, is valid for everyone.
