Human trafficking is a major challenge facing society today. Improving coordination among all entities involved including local and federal enforcement, health care, social services, and non-governmental organizations will be integral to improving the outcomes of survivors of the vice. In this sense, I would foster the establishment of task forces and coalitions comprising of all key entities involved in the process of rescuing and facilitating long term recovery of survivors. According to Clawson and Dutch (n.d.), coalitions and task forces are significant in increasing the availability of services for all victims. Task forces and coalitions specifically focused on addressing the needs of survivors of human trafficking can go a long way in boosting the coordination among different involved entities.
