This is a coerced confession to the suspect. The investigator threatened him by exposing his criminal act to the family, including his wife, children, and employer. The suspect offers a full confession to cover his name from the people he cares for most. Therefore, the suspect did not willingly give his confession, which was wrong for the interrogator to bully the suspect mentally and emotionally. Besides, this violates the suspect's privacy due to the threat of the interrogator to expose his acts to the family and employer (Think LegalEase, 2015). However, there could be an exception for this type of interrogation. The interrogation should have done this in the presence of a judge to understand the truth behind the suspect.
