Chapter 15 of the book titled "Firearms, Toolmarks, and other Impressions" taught me the concept of bullet comparisons. This concept taught me that the internal surface of a gun's barrel leaves its marks on the bullet while moving through it. The markings are used in identifying suspects linked to an offense by determining whether marks on a suspect's gun are similar to those found at the crime scene.
