Specifically, Java IO as a package consists of either input or output related stream of classes all used in writing and reading data files. Thus, Java explicitly has three class classifications: Input Stream, Output Streams, and Everything Else.
To begin with, the Input Streams class is the one used in or when reading data from the input origin or sources. These sources can either be files, strings, or anything that contains data or information. It’s understood that all input streams originate from Input Stream.
