My assigned assessment domain is physical health and entails the overall well-being and the proper functioning of a person’s body. Indeed, it comprises various components, such as diet, medical self-care, nutrition, and physical activity (Prontenko et al., 2019). On the contrary, Ashley focused on the socio-environmental support and the quality of life measures. The quality of life consists of social, environmental, physical, personal preferences and resources. Additionally, socio-environmental support includes economic resources, social support and network, environmental safety, and living situation.
The primary similarity between the domain of physical health and socio-environmental health and the quality of life is that it affects people’s health directly. For instance, poor nutrition increases an individual’s chance of getting sick. When it comes to socio-environmental factors, the lack of economic resources causes people to lack life necessities, such as food, shelter, and clothing.
