Introduction
Personal Leadership Philosophy (PLP) is a guiding principle that comprises beliefs and values that one has and helps in providing solutions to various situations in life. In my PLP, values include Honesty, Wisdom, Respect, Communication skills, and other values; the other thing is that I am a firm believer of two are better than one. These values help me in achieving my goals and even the goals of the hospital I work in.
Description
These values have influenced my nursing practices and behaviors greatly during these COVID-19 hard times. Through wisdom, I dealt with situations that my patients faced. Most patients who suffered from the virus were in denial, but I gave them words of hope. Through my excellent communication skills, I consistently issue directives to the junior nurses in areas where they needed my help and clarity.
