Nursing-managed health centers and clinics have improved access to healthcare because they are situated in more convenient locations. Besides, these healthcare centers are also providing quality care to individuals who are unable to access care from other advanced health facilities. Furthermore, the nurse-led clinics offer a wide range of primary care and a few specialty services, and they are operated and managed by nurse practitioners who function as primary providers. These facilities are not aimed at making a profit because they are mostly associated with academic health centers (Auerbach et al., 2013). Therefore, nurse-managed health centers are focused more on provided accessible care to individuals from low-income areas enabling them to access services they would have otherwise missed.
