Marketing principles include the 4 P's (product, price, promotion, placement) and the 7 P's (product, placement, promotion, price, process, people, physical evidence). These principles imply that before the hospital manager does anything, they should understand the healthcare market, their customers, products, competition, people, and processes to effectively apply this information to achieve public health goals (Hatheway, 2022).
