The article “A Guide to Empowering Frontline Nurses and Healthcare Clinicians Through Evidence-Based Innovation Leadership during COVID-19 and beyond” is a useful guide that outlines several leadership principles that nurse leaders can use to lead clinicians on the front lines during the pandemic. One evidence-based example of innovation leadership is maximizing one’s presence through participatory leadership. Mosadeghrad & Ferdosi (2013) discovered that participatory leadership, typified by administrators who lead alongside their frontline colleagues, is an effective way to improve staff satisfaction.
