Values refer to fundamental beliefs that direct and motivate a person’s actions. Values help a person determine what is important to them. My personal values include compassion, kindness, fairness, equality, perseverance, honesty, loyalty, commitment, harmony, knowledge, love, respect, protecting the environment, and spirituality. I value my personal values because they guide me in making informed decisions. My personal values shape the person I want to be, both for myself and the people around me.
