Nurses enact appropriate ways to inform patients and families of their true and factual health status and the possible steps towards a cure. Although some situations might be tough, they should facilitate open communication despite the underlying situation. Also, nurses answer any questions asked appropriately and help in the ultimate process of acquired any desired information regarding the health of the patient (American Nurses Association, 2015).
