The current plan of care for Mark is focused on the need to call his psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and social workers regularly. The intervention strategy entails pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy as the medically recommended course that will assist in managing his moods leading to depressive episodes. The clinical team is trying to evaluate and optimize the doses of the antidepressant/anxiolytic medications the patient receives to maximize the therapeutic outcomes and minimize side effects.
