One of the motivating factors for me as I start my journey into graduate education is the emerging challenges in the healthcare system. As the world continues to grow and globalization shrinks the distance between countries, a few sectors appear to be strained and a good example is healthcare. Currently, the world is working hard to contain and curb the deadly effects of the coronavirus. The Covid-19 issue has already claimed more than 550,000 deaths worldwide and more are sure to follow.
