Anemia refers to a health condition that entails the lack of enough red blood cells, which means that oxygen is not well-circulated to all body organs and tissues. There exist various types of anemia, namely iron deficiency, aplastic, sickle cell, vitamin deficiency, and thalassemia. When one is affected by anemia, the common symptoms are tiredness, cold, and body weakness. Globally, anemia affects over 2 billion individuals.
