Healthy People 2010 and 2020 reflect countrywide healthcare objectives that detect the most crucial threats to health and develop goals to address those threats. Although both plans have interrelated goals, they have different numbers of focus areas. Healthy People 2010 contain 467 specific objectives grouped into 28 focus areas. In contrast, Healthy People 2020 has roughly 1,300 objectives grouped into 42 focus areas.
