The topic has been explored deeply, thus further understanding the teacher shortage in the United States. All the states in America are facing the same issue of teacher shortage. There is also a need for qualified educators to meet cultural competence, given that America is a diverse region. This means that educators should be from different backgrounds to meet the needs of diverse learners. There is further information related to how the pandemic worsened the teacher shortage problem (Carver-Thomas & Darling-Hammond, 2019). There are also solutions developed to address the issue, such as the Red for Ed 2018 Movement and recruitment efforts.  2. The research is backed up by resources cited throughout the work. The resources follow APA guidelines on the references page and in-text citations. This indicates that an in-depth study was conducted by researching what other scholars have contributed.
