The student will illustrate skills in historical thinking and geographical findings by: * Examining and interpreting historical pieces and artifacts and analyzing sources to determine their relevance in United States history (Virginia Department of Education, n.d). * Investigating and analyzing geographic data to deduce trends in history * Analyzing pictures and charts to identify traits of places and people in the United States history * Utilizing the evidence to conclude different issues. * Comparison and contrasting different historical events * Evaluating the association between causes and effects in United States history * Determining the rights and responsibilities of American citizens and the ethical use of intellectual property.
