Cognitive
I have engaged with children at a personal level, and my teaching methods satisfy the required standards for cognitive competency. Teaching a class as a whole helps pupils learn, but if one student is suffering, I help them with their problems. This helps them grow intellectually and expand their thoughts even further than previously (Sprod, 1994). By helping the children achieve good cognitive development, they will be able to develop various learning abilities such as thinking and remembering. Using pattern cards in the lesson, we practice recalling what happened firstly, secondly, and lastly. By engaging in these tasks and giving chances, I can attain the aim of cognitive growth. We also engage in block arrangement so that every child arranges the blocks according to their perception.
Physical
Physical activities help children to grow healthy bones and become active as well. The physical development of each child is important since it allows them to adopt healthy routines. For example, in a previous physical lesson, we practiced balancing ourselves on one leg. This helps the children to maintain a physically fit body as well as have fun. My teaching practices meet the laid down standards for physical development because I have seen students who could not properly help themselves to a restroom, and now they do. I provide the children with materials and activities regularly to help them improve their abilities (Stork & Sanders). Greater skills may also be fostered through singing, indoor and outdoor activities, and physical activities. I think that young children learn best via physical action and engagement with their surroundings; therefore, they should be given limitless chances for hands-on learning and movement (Stork & Sanders).
Communication
Proper communication skills in every child I have come across allow them to gather courage when expressing themselves on all platforms. I have organized reading sessions in class where every child reads a paragraph of a storybook that we are reading for the day. This has helped these children learn new words and improve their confidence to speak publicly  (Gardner-Neblett & Gallagher, 2013). I have also adopted asking queries during story reading to motivate them to think about what they want to say  (Gardner-Neblett & Gallagher, 2013). I always help them understand that it is okay however they feel, and it’s okay to express their point of view. As their teacher, I always respect every child’s point of view as well as their needs. I have placed a lot of importance on communication skills because how infants are trained to converse today serves as a foundation for how they will communicate as adults.
Creativity
If presented with a chance, children can be creative. Infants must have the opportunity to be creative because it helps them develop as autonomous intellectuals who can think in various ways. When doing art with children, I give them a list of items, whereby I do not specify the objects they make with the items. Since every child’s brain thinks differently, each one of them will create something that their mind thinks of. I ask open-ended queries with no preset answers, allowing the children to think (Fox & Schirrmacher, 2015). I ask them what additional purposes items have besides their original function to help them develop their creativity (Fox & Schirrmacher, 2015). For instance, we can use a basin as a drum or even a carton as a cupboard. We also use visual arts for the children to express their creativity skills by identifying the items in the drawings.
