Effective communication entails exchanging thoughts and opinions, whether verbally or in a written form, to make the message clear, understandable, and purposeful. It is important to communicate effectively, whether written or verbal since it brings satisfaction and accomplishment. Further, effective communication creates zero room for misunderstandings and alleviates real and potential conflicts. In most contexts, verbal communication proves to be more effective than written communication. Verbal communication entails carefully thought out words, tone, and non-verbal cues that may help keep the audience focused and attentive.
