Thus, the living environment, such as parental actions, rules, and household expectations, can benefit or harm the child. For instance, if parents smoke or vape, then their children too are likely to smoke or vape because children copy behaviors they see from parents at home (Hanafin et al., 2021). Also, if a parent has no clue or little information about vaping and its health effects on users, teenagers are more likely to engage in vaping.
