After reviewing Dr. Irvin Yalom's 12 factors, I realized I had been beneficial for some of the factors. One of the most profound experiences for me was the sense of universality, where I realized that I was not alone in my struggles and challenges. Being part of a group where others shared similar experiences and emotions was incredibly comforting and validating. The group helped me overcome the feeling of isolation and recognize that "I am not the only one in this boat" (Rusu & Davis, 2022). Another key benefit I have experienced is the power of interpersonal learning.
