Recursion is a solving problem tool used in computer science to solve a problem that depends on the solution of smaller instances of the same problem. When it is being used to solve a particular problem, some errors occur. The errors are addressed accordingly by solving recursive problems through the use of a function which calls themselves from within their codes. This paper will examine various errors that occur when using recursion and also how they affect the outcome. The first common error is a faulty recursive call where values are not added to the returned value, and as a result, bugs occur.
