I need you to watch three videos on these three speakers. Yes, I know the videos are short and they are suppose to be a hour long but I couldn't get anyone to send em the video files nor could I find the full videos so you do the very best you can. So for instance just because it was only 5 minutes instead of hour video don't say you wouldn't recommend them for that very reason. If you have to do some extra research to find out more about that particular speaker or what they are speaking about be my guest.
Please watch each video separately and then answer these 5 questions for each speaker. Please use a full page per speaker if more that is great but need at least a page.

Alton Brown
1 What were the main points of this speaker’s presentation?
In his video presentation, Alton Brown discussed points in a person's life where he/she already feels lost. Times when one is lost, not knowing what to do or where to go. He said that during these times, it is best to "stop," take a deep breath and think. He pointed out the importance of taking “occasional breaks†in life to re-think and reflect on what you really want to do with it. Are you going down the path that you really want? Are you happy with how life unfolds for you? In the latter part of his video he emphasized that this is more common with students. Plenty of students these days pursue a particular degree believing that they love it at first. Though, in the end, most of us (including myself) would realize that we want to do something else, that we love it more, and that we're better at it. And this is the usual point in our lives where most of us get confused. For Alton Brown, during these times it's best to "re-think and reflect".
2 How will you apply this information in your life?
Right now, I'm one of these people who are not that sure if the degree that I'm taking is really the one for me. Just a few months earlier, I realized that I love music more than what I'm taking right now. That was the time when I took a "step back", went to a solitary place, and let my mind wander. Finally, it came to me that I would pursue my passion, and that's it. However, I just regret it that I didn't realize this a lot sooner. If I had, I would have been better at it, and I wouldn't have wasted my time in doing something that I didn't love.
3 What did you find most interesting about this speaker?
The life of Alton Brown piqued my interests in more ways than one. As a former media executive and owner of WRWH, a radio station in Georgia, he should have been earning a lot of money in what he does for a living. However, he realized that he wanted something else. That his passion is more into food and cooking. Thus, despite his achievements in the field of cinematography, he enrolled in a culinary school to do what he love. Now, he already hosts some TV shows and has a lot of videos on YouTube that are widely viewed by a lot of audiences.
4 If you could talk to the speaker what would you say/ask?
Perhaps, I would ask him a single question that everyone would also love to ask – how would I know if it’s the right thing for you? Personally, I’m the type of person whose wants everything to go according to plan, and to line everything that I do (my hobbies and interests) with my goals. I’m not really a big fan of the "sudden change-of-heart†phenomena especially if it happens in the latter part of my life. I just don’t want to spend all these times learning and specializing in one thing, only to find out that that is not what I really want. Thus, I would be very happy to ask him about "how can I know early on if what I'm doing is the right thing for me?
5 Would you recommend this speaker to other students? Why/Why not?
Definitely. As said earlier graduate students are more susceptible to life crisis that questions who they really are. Due to this, they have a higher probability of “being lost†in life. Thus, I believe that students should be aware of this phenomena and be conscious of how they make decisions as early as their early years in high school and college.
Dion Jordan
1 What were the main points of this speaker’s presentation?
In the video, Dion Jordan spoke about “mental toughness†or “the ability to keep your mind and thoughts at a laser-focus state in the midst of adversity, doubt, and any types of discouragement to achieve your goals.†At first, he acknowledges that the most common conception about ...
