You are your own brand just like Nike or Adidas, and are like no other. What sets you apart? What makes people want to interact with you? do business with you? hire you? Personal Branding is vital in today’s business environment where it’s critical to craft and establish your brand in order to remain competitive. As such, you’ll be developing your own Personal Branding Action Plan for Assignment One. Using the template provided (or by creating a video if you’d prefer), you will complete the following sections:
I. List 3-4 Keywords that you would use to describe yourself. Ex. Digital Marketer, Entrepreneur, Advocate, IT Expert, Student, Consultant, etc. Use 1-2 adjectives before each noun. a. Keyword 1:

III. Identify your value proposition? This is one sentence that describes what you have that sets you apart from others (experience, skills, expertise, qualities). Your value proposition identifies who you are, what you do and the value you bring to those you interact with. a. Value Proposition:

List 3 Personal Branding/Networking Goals (i.e. Set up your LinkedIn profile, begin blogging, develop a thought leadership presence, start or join a networking group, complete a certification, etc.) This will differ for all of you depending on where you are at with your business or professional goals. V. Create a 5-7 sentence elevator pitch that you can use when you meet someone new. This is just a quick summary of your skills, expertise and what you hope to accomplish. Be sure to pitch or require something even if it’s only “here is my card. Can I contact you?” Look to your value proposition, passion, values and keywords for clues.
