Linear optimization pursues the best outcomes in a mathematical model whose requirements are represented in linear relationships. Different food products are brought together in a local restaurant to prepare meals for a projected number of customers. Linear algebra (an integer programming approach) reflects a direct relationship between a decrease or increase in food sources and changes in the quantities of food production (Oladejo & Agashua, 2015). For instance, the objective was to determine how many of each menu item to prepare to meet a required number of meals.
