Globalization-Supply Chain Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation Course Professor Date Globalization-Supply Chain As globalization increases, outsourcing supply chains also become a crucial aspect in today's businesses looking for quality and cost effectiveness. This essay assesses Thailand and India as potential marketplaces for manufacturing hard drives and computer memory, emphasizing sustainability, workforce, regulations, cost, intellectual property, and reputation to decide the most appropriate nation to outsource. Sustainability Measures and Environmental Regulation Thailand The country has a strong framework for ensuring sustainability development and environmental regulation. The “Environmental, social and governance (ESG)" works as a framework to measure the sustainability and ethical influence of an investment in the companies (Krataykhwan, 2023). Today, more companies in Thailand are announcing their dedication to adopting ESG practices.
