As a form of business ownership, the not-for-profit business model is appropriate for the Green Bay Packers. The sports team needs to be a community-based organization since the community has an interest in its activities. They would also be willing to contribute professionals to the team, such as a coach, since they are invested in the team (Hinton & Maclurcan, 2017). A not-for-profit organization does not depend on making profits. It does not pay dividends for the shares, and liquidation or any sales proceeds will go to charity rather than the shareholders.
