Describe the different forms of energy.  Chapter 6 1.1 There are two main types of mechanical energy , kinetic energy and potential energy, and kinetic energy is associated with the movement while the potential energy is associated with the position or configuration in relation to a field of forces and if there is movement, the position changes and, therefore, also the potential energy. Food is known as chemical energy as it contains energy in the chemical bonds of organic molecules Chapter 6 1.2 Summarize the two laws of thermodynamics and how these laws apply to cells.
