This piece is a very interesting artwork due to the combination of the different formal and technical aspects used by the artist. Specifically, it shows a certain sense of continuity through the method and materials used for its creation. It also presents a strong visual impact on its viewers due to the contrasting light and dark areas. Although the piece does not employ a simple and memorable overall pattern, it was able to compensate this through the use of variety and placement. For example, it could be seen that the surfaces of the different units (i.e., jar) are varied and is almost realistic looking. It was also very much pleasing to the viewers’ eyes since the whole space is utilized efficiently with the objects in focus occupying a large proportion of the whole picture.
