This week, you will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of individual, team, group, and organizational interventions, and what they look like during problem solving and decision-making. Intervention is the “doing” phase of action research. This paper will solidify your intervention selection. You will explain the actions used during your selected intervention and comprehensively apply the process to the case study. The paper must be at least two full pages in length, and must include the course textbook as a reference (I will have the chapters attached for reference), as well as three additional scholarly and credible sources to support the content of the paper. Blaze Mining will develop its divided leadership team into a coherent, high-performing entity. This intervention begins with surveys, interviews, and observations to detect conflict and communication issues. First, the leadership team attends workshops to establish trust and enhance relationships. Team-building, mediated conversations, and role-playing will promote understanding and collaboration in these seminars (Moyo, 2023). For effective teamwork and decision-making, trust and respect must be built. Blaze Mining’s organizational culture change intervention goals include collaboration, transparency, and continual improvement. The findings will inform a customized plan to address cultural challenges. This approach will involve leadership training, cultural awareness workshops, and internal communication efforts to promote cultural values and behaviors. Why The Intervention Is Applicable The team development intervention is very relevant to Blaze Mining because several family members professionally manage most of the company's divisions in the executive team (Burke, 2022). As seen from these internal teams, issues such as diplomatic administration and proper management of critical organizational processes have been severely hampered by antagonistic and non-cohesive working relationships. The solution addresses the sources of these interpersonal conflicts and communication issues through a focus on teamwork.
