Curation is defined as “the action or process of selecting, organizing, and looking after the items in a collection or exhibition.” With the internet, we as a society have access to an unlimited amount of information. Our problem isn't a lack of information, it's trying to carefully choose from the resources available to us. You will make an annotated collection, which is very similar to an annotated bibliography. You will curate a list of the best sources from the web that accurately portray the topic you have selected. This will be a combination of websites, peer-reviewed articles, videos, etc. You must include at least 10 sources (requirements listed below) that are reputable (Wikipedia is not reputable). After you gather these sources, you will provide an annotation for them. Write a short description of what information the source provides on your topic, why this is a good source, and how it represents what you have learned. You cannot use any sources already provided in this course. APA formatting is required.
Suggested tool: WakeletLinks to an external site. or DiigoLinks to an external site.
