Abstract:
This project aims to design a Database Management System to offer Kacynest Testing Agency with a practical way of doing the testing process. The database application is adaptable and well-optimized to help help in reducing manual testing done by individuals using computers, while effectuating the test by carefully following necessary procedures. This integrated database is designed and purposed to allow data entry, process data into information, and produce authentic reports. Moreover, the data management system will help in accelerating excecution of the testing procedures, while automating the tedious tasks of testers and reducing human labour in the testing process. Hence, the database application not only enhance testing efficiency but also offer an amazing end-user experience and giving out the most reliable reports.
One of the approved Testing Agencies is the Kacynest in Boston Massachusetts. This company hires many skilled employees under the leadership of an effectual management team who always aim to deliver the best services and make the organization standout. The company works hard to achieve its goals, including primarily guaranteeing exceptional customer satisfaction and promote their employees’ skills through training and development strategies. However, the Kacynest agency had been able to meet its goals. The main reason for not achieving its targets is inconvenient existing system which had been facing several challenges, rendering the company’s structures ineffective to meet its needs.
The main problems with the existing system include high-level of manual transactions, extended testing execution period, reduced data processing and information delivery capabilities, and inability to execute testing procedures on various platforms. Since every department of the Kacynest agency has its own database, it was difficult for the offices to share data. These factors limited the company from achieving its target, and it was essential for the management to work out on strategies to mitigate the situation. Therefore, this case study is intended to help Testing Agencies, including Kacynest to overcome such limitations by implementing an integrated database system. The integrated system will enhance productivity, information processing efficiency and minimize costs, and ensure delivery of precise and coherent data. The project employs all SDLC phases. In the implementation of the project, some provisions are made that will allow system improvement in the future.

Problem Description
The automated testing deals with automatic assessing and analysing competency of an individual in a specific subject. It presents a practical solution if the company or testing agency is dealing with mass evaluation with numerous unique features that cannot be handled by manual or paper-based systems. The examination testing industry is highly competitive; thus, many companies and agencies in the business are facing uncommon pressure to enhance speed of tests execution, conduct thorough assessments more often, and ensure efficiency of the testing process. The main objective is to have an integrated system that guarantees customer satisfaction and ensure their agency processes and structures in sales and services are effiecient enough to meet the company’s needs. Currently, the testing agency has a manual prcessinng syatem which is more tedious, involving high volumes of data entry, inconsistencies, inexact reports, high costs of data processing, and information or reports insecurity issues.
The Kacynest service should primarily consider implementing a database system that offer efficiency of operations , minimize tedious tasks, and enhance testing experience. To achieve its goals on customer satisfaction and efficiency of operations, the management team will thoroughly analyze the new system to ensure it orients to the company’s targets. The new system comes with several novel features to help in enhancing assessment accuracy, stamp out examination irregularities, and offer quick feedback while enhancing efficiency. In short, the new system will facilitate Kacynest with tools essential in data collection, analysis, management and distribution to help in administering tests to individuals from different geographical locations and in different times. Since the database system contains special programs and aspects for data safety and efficiency, it allows the organization to restrain examination leakage, eliminate human erros in test evaluation and exam scores’ recording. With this new database system everything is simplified; processes become automatic, from tests to marking and evaluation to production of tests reports. Justification of the problem
Analysis of a case study entails evaluation of specific issue to find out the existing prblems and develop effective interventions and best possible strategies to attain the desired results. This case study needs an establishment od a complete test assessment system with a powerful Data Management System. By establishing a test assessment and data management systems, the Kacynest can thoroughly analyze the new database system to determine its feasibility in offering testing requirements to achieve company’s primary goals. The database application will embody worthy functional and non-functional capabilities to ensure it meets particular client’s requirements and capable of performing specific sets of tasks.
This project is ideal since it provides learners with the opportunity to practice whatever they learned theoretically in class and enhance their proficiency in theoretical topics covered in class, including database, DBMS, system analysis and design, documentation, networks, and process of requirement specification. Purpose
The system is an essential tool for any test or examination assessment agency. It allows international testing agency to administer automated tests to individuals from several locations worldwide at a time. Notably, the system eliminates manual data collection and all paperworks, and it is time- saving since it allows the testing agency to execute testing processes regardless of region and time; thus, doing away with the need to wait for results. Hence, results are automatically generated by the server from the integrated system. Agency administrators can create, modify, and completely delete the examinaton or test questions on the database application. On the other hand, users are allowed to register, log in the system, access the tests in the provided interface, do the test questions within the time provided, and see results immediately.
Feasibility study
The client, Kacynest agency requires an online application or platform that will stop all the challeges mentioned earlier above, eliminate manual paperwork, offer consistency and fast processing of data, allow recording, modifying, and deletion of records. The viability of the proposed implementation of the database appliction was assessed by comparing its cost, required effort and time, and labour to the current system. The new database system will comprise a self-contained interface that will not require data assessment from different application. Therefore, this will ensure every testing process is quick in a single interface, and it will save costs of integrating and running other data-assessing application.
