This paper will focus on an issue revolving around Non-Commission Officers (NCO) roles and responsibilities within the Canadian Armed Forces' logistics trade. As a military logistician, the NCO faces a challenging task of managing the primary responsibilities of supporting and sustaining the military effort and heavily engaged in varieties of plan phases and conducts cyclical trade-related qualifications. Besides, this position entails supporting various aspects, including soldier scales, welfare, and enhancing their work through adequate supply and professional ethos maintenance.
Generally, the Canadian Forces (CF) effectiveness framework summarizes CF leaders' duties into five fundamental categories. These role-defining dimensions include accomplishing the mission, structuring and integrating teams, regulating conduct under Canadian military ethos, ensuring well-being and commitment, and commitment and enhancing the capacity to adapt to change (Canadian Defence Academy & Canadian Forces Leadership Institute, 2005).
