Instructors should implement standard practices that can work virtually. Teachers should embrace the features in new popular digital apps to incorporate polls, games, and surveys that can be interactive to students (Nora, 2020). Teachers can use the ‘dipstick’ method to quickly check on the student’s academic and emotional status. Teachers can also determine the student’s level of understanding by asking them to hold up appropriate numbers from a range of 1-5 to show their comprehension.
Instructors can also create online documents to measure their student’s comprehension, where students can respond individually to their understanding of a subject that was just taught. It will ensure that the teacher accommodates all students as per their abilities.
