Consequences of Social Class.
Social class significantly impacts an individual's life. Physical health increases in the upper class while it decreases in the lower class regardless of age. Social class determines the availability of medical care and the lifestyle of individuals; upper-class individuals have better mental health than low-class individuals. Mental health problems are attributed to higher stress from poverty. Also, social class has a significant effect on the family; choosing a spouse to marry, divorce chances, and bringing up the children.
