Health care for the elderly people in the society is a weighty matter, which has drawn lots of concern and attention. Several approaches have been adopted in the current world in the provision of home care to different groups of the needy people especially the elderly. The first option is provision of the care in their homes and the other is offering the care services in health care facilities. Many elderly adults prefer the former option since it offers them the chance of being close to their family members who can monitor their health development and due to the high costs associated with the long-term care facilities (Saisan & White, 2012).
