I need a positive reflection on this blog and i want you to write about your comments critically in depth with current political issue in positive way and something you are admiring.



For example, many people make a fun of First lady as being stupid because she is very pretty, and people think that the first lady doesn't have a brain, but the first lady is NOT stupid and is able to speak three different languages , besides, the first lady has the back ground just like me from a different country that she maintain her original background where she got educated.





Dear fellow historian,

I write to you as someone who has been in the profession for nearly two decades. As you closing indicates, your mind is closed. You are not interested in discussion. You lack sympathy and empathy for those who have opposing views. This is a sad comment on not only our shared profession, but you as a person. As for the idea that the left is engaged in indoctrination, that much is very true. I know. I was one of them. I repeated the half-truths, opinions, and settled knowledge about Nixon and his southern strategy, Reagan's dog whistles, and the virtues of the liberal Democrats as they imprisoned Black America often literally. Thankfully and often un-thankfully, I now know those positions and many others to be demonstrably wrong. A mind is like a parachute: it only works when it is open.
