The research report focuses on the detrimental consequences of "facilitating plants," or plants that have been exposed to other plant species in an effort to promote their growth. Even while these plants appear to be rather helpful, they can occasionally pose serious risks to the local biodiversity of other plant species.
For instance, they can disturb a savanna's natural cycle. According to the study, invasive species run the risk of upsetting the delicate balance of the ecosystem if they cohabit with other native species for an extended period of time. The detrimental consequences of invasive species occurring in a particular habitat have also been depicted visually. Visual evidence that the spread of invasive species harms the area's native shrubs and plants has emerged from the study's findings.
