Primary Responsibilities
The Warehouse Selector is responsible for accurate and efficient selection of product in our warehouse using a riding electric pallet jack and RF scanner/gladiator. Our Selectors work 5 days a week starting at 9 a.m. with mandatory overtime. We are closed on Saturdays. Some Selectors work Sundays and have split days off. Selectors earn $17/hour+ when they start.
Essential Functions
* Pick up proper selecting documents prior to order selection process.
* Select and separate warehouse product by account and stop number as designated by the computer-generated label.
* Match product description with label description.
* Build pallet within the warehouse according to customer guidelines.
* Maintain production standards, while minimizing errors.
* Transport, via stand-up electric pallet jack, the completed orders to appropriate staging area in the warehouse.
* Must maintain good attendance.
* Maintain safe work practices in the warehouse.
* Maintain safeguards of confidential warehouse company information.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:
* A minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse atmosphere preferred.
* Previous experience operating powered warehouse industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.) preferred.
* Must have the ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
* Must have the ability to follow safe warehouse working practices, as instructed
* Must have the ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision within the warehouse.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential warehouse functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be able to carry, lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. The associate is required to sit. The associate is constantly required to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm. The noise levels in the warehouse work environment are typically low to moderate.

Tuesday: 8:00am-4:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am-4:00pm
Thursday: Off
Friday: 12:00am-8:00am
Saturday: 12:00am-8:00am
Sunday: 4:00pm-12:00am
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Timekeepers track and manage employee hours and schedules for pay.
* These employees work closely with HR and finance departments
* Responsible for compiling and tracking employee work time and production history.
* Collect and analyze data using timesheets, spreadsheets and production systems.
* Will track employee vacation time and sick time for the purposing of ensuring proper payment.
* Must be extremely reliable since they are dealing with time-related issues and employee schedules.
* Timekeepers must be capable of multitasking, planning and organizing details while communicating effectively with co-workers and employees.
* Adjust (hours) hours worked and any time off (leave) an employee has recorded
* View an employee’s vacation, sick leave, and comp time balances and total hours worked.
* Assist supervisors with questions regarding their employee’s timecard
* Modify custom fields such as overtime and meal break designations
* Create custom Hyper finds to view select employees based on a set of requirements in the timekeeping system
* Ensure that all employees are accounted for and that time sheets accurately reflect hours worked. In addition, the timekeeper may need to communicate with department heads to verify overtime hours or missed hours, both paid and unpaid.
* Monitor payroll data for discrepancies or unusual occurrences to ensure accuracy and maintain correct information.
* Flag payroll submissions for excess hours, and reports these issues to their supervisor and the human resources department.
Qualifications:
* Timekeepers must have knowledge in accounting and payroll data software programs
* Knowledge in administrative skills such as operating computers, 10-key calculators, word processing and proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.
* It is imperative for timekeepers to know personnel compensation and benefits relating to hours worked.
* Knowledge of mathematical reasoning and analytical skills are needed to avoid any errors during work.
* High School Diploma or GED required and 2-3 years’ applicable experience
