O'Connor presents a moral structure in his story, "A Good Man is Hard to Find," which is based on characters who connote the behavioral extremes of mythic Jesus who both brought a sword and redeemed by dying. It follows that the characters pursue lives as ethical or social outcasts, only showing flashes of moral awareness, which never comes to fruition. These ethical items will properly guide the research by identifying the right and proper concepts to mention in the essay.
